Sportstown Billiards was established in 1958, long before, it was filled with cow pastures. In the late fifties and sixties, Sportstown was greasy spoon with the greatest hamburgers in town and where the card players out-numbered the pool players.

There were real life gangsters that occupied their time by melting down silver in a secret upstairs apartment. And as rumor tells it, other dirty deals went down, with formed the Dixie Mafia.
